Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and conveyors, ensuring proper handling of merchandise.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Organization: Keep storage areas organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Packing & Labeling: Accurately pack, label, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Equipment Certification: Ability to obtain forklift certification within the first 30 days of employment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy regarding inventory counts and shipping details.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours including overtime.
