Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipping using handheld scanners and RF equipment.
- Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move stock, pallets, and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Control: Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and maintaining accurate stock levels to prevent shortages.
- Shipping & Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments for damage, sign for deliveries, and load outbound trucks efficiently.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift checks on forklifts and safety equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse policies to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate uneven surfaces.
- License: Valid forklift certification is a strong plus but not mandatory (training available).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to read pick tickets and packing lists.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with high attention to detail.
