Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise: Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move goods to and from trailers and storage areas.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock counts using warehouse management systems.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to meet daily shipping targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Housekeeping: Keep work areas organized, clean, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma: or equivalent GED preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing or logistics is a plus but not required for qualified candidates.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift license is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping labels.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a consistent attendance record.
