Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the evening shift workflow to ensure 100% on-time order fulfillment.
- Conduct daily inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies immediately.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a secure environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates on proper handling and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with the logistics department to resolve shipping issues and optimize routes.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks (forklifts, pallet jacks) and report necessary repairs.
- Generate daily shift reports and communicate key metrics to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in logistics preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification is a significant plus but we will train the right candidate.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team during evening hours.
- Proficiency in basic computer systems and inventory management software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
