Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment using warehouse management systems.
- Inspect packages for damage and ensure accurate labeling, barcoding, and documentation.
- Load and unload trucks utilizing material handling equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Verify inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn warehouse software and barcode scanners quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
- Reliable transportation to the Chula Vista facility.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen prior to employment.
