Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Greet and assist customers with inquiries regarding products and services to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to process payments and handle returns efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Help maintain stock levels by organizing shelves, restocking items, and performing regular inventory checks.
- Store Operations: Ensure the sales floor and checkout areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Problem Solving: Address customer concerns and resolve minor issues immediately to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record is essential.
- Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to learn new POS software quickly.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate objects (up to 25 lbs).
