Responsibilities
- Safely walk multiple dogs simultaneously in Sacramento neighborhoods and parks
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as specified
- Monitor pet behavior and report any health concerns to pet parents
- Maintain detailed daily logs of activities and observations
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming services when needed
- Ensure all pets are securely leashed and supervised at all times
- Communicate professionally with pet owners via text/email updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable insured vehicle
- Current pet first/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to handle large, energetic, and reactive dogs
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Background check and clean driving record required
- Passion for animal welfare and exceptional customer service
