Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs in various neighborhoods across Corpus Christi
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as directed
- Monitor pet health and behavior during walks, reporting any concerns
- Maintain detailed digital records of services rendered and pet observations
- Transport pets to vet appointments or grooming sessions when required
- Uphold strict safety protocols during all interactions with animals
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding service updates
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Current pet first aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong physical fitness and ability to handle large or strong dogs
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Must pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of canine behavior and basic training principles
