Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Bag customer purchases and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when stock is running low.
- Support store operations by assisting with restocking shelves and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.
