Responsibilities
- Brew and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages and coffee drinks according to company standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including the counter, seating area, and restrooms.
- Perform food preparation tasks, such as toasting bagels and preparing pastries, as required.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and balance the cash drawer at the end of the shift.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required (we provide training).
- Strong passion for coffee and a willingness to learn brewing techniques and latte art.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under pressure.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
