Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages while maintaining strict quality standards
- Engage warmly with customers, personalize orders, and build lasting relationships
- Manage daily operations including inventory, cash handling, and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and efficient workspace
- Adhere to food safety protocols and cleanliness standards
- Contribute to menu innovation and seasonal promotions
- Train new staff on brewing techniques and customer service excellence
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional barista experience with espresso machine proficiency
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional customer service skills with a positive, approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
