Responsibilities
- Brew Excellence: Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality espresso beverages, teas, and pastries according to our exacting standards.
- Customer Experience: Greet every guest with a warm smile, answer questions about our menu, and ensure each customer feels valued and welcome.
- Operational Efficiency: Master our POS systems and maintain accurate transactions during busy rush hours.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a pristine, sanitary, and organized workspace, including the espresso machine and dining area, at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless flow of service.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on current brewing techniques, seasonal ingredients, and product promotions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous barista experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates with a strong passion for coffee.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays (crucial for our 'Start Tomorrow' role).
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers.
- Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a positive attitude.
- Food Safety: Understanding of basic food safety and handling regulations.
