Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate care across departments
- Verify insurance eligibility and maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with patient intake and preliminary health assessments
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Manage patient communications via phone and secure messaging
- Support health education initiatives and community outreach programs
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- 1+ years healthcare or customer service experience
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
- Available to work evenings/weekends (2-3 shifts weekly)
