Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and answering inquiries regarding products and services.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Operate cash registers, handle various payment methods, and make change with high accuracy.
- Assist with stocking shelves, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the sales floor is organized and appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any stock shortages, damages, or theft to management immediately.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, tidy, and fully stocked with shopping bags, receipt paper, and cleaning supplies.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and welcoming shopping experience for all customers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is a plus but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with strict accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
