As a Cashier, you are the face of our brand. You will be responsible for ensuring every customer leaves our store with a smile.
Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately to handle sales, returns, and exchanges with a focus on speed and precision.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries about products, and provide recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Cash Management: Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions; balance the cash drawer at the end of every shift.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Inventory Support: Assist with inventory counts and stocking shelves as needed to ensure product availability.
- Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate complex matters to the manager when necessary.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, including loss prevention and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Skills: Basic math skills and proficiency with technology (computers and tablets) are essential.
- Attitude: A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Legal: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
