Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS) system.
- Greet all customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items in the store, and provide product recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area and store environment.
- Monitor inventory levels at the register and assist with restocking shelves when needed.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily and weekly sales targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
