Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, including processing cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain the cleanliness and safety of the sales floor.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering general inquiries.
- Process returns and exchanges while adhering to company policies.
- Collaborate with the management team to meet daily sales targets and inventory goals.
- Keep the stockroom organized and assist with inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications
- No prior retail experience is required; comprehensive training will be provided.
- Must be at least 16 years of age (18+ for alcohol sales if applicable).
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds.
