As a Stocker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our shelves are stocked and our customers have access to the products they need. We offer a generous Sign-On Bonus for new hires who commit to our team.
Responsibilities
- Merchandising & Stocking: Receive, unpack, and organize incoming merchandise onto shelves and storage racks according to company standards.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and rotate inventory to ensure freshness and accuracy.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout by straightening displays and removing damaged items.
- Customer Assistance: Assist customers in locating products and answer basic inquiries about store operations.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified) to move heavy loads.
- Shelf Tagging: Ensure price tags and signage are accurate and up-to-date.
- Zone Maintenance: Keep the stockroom and sales floor clean, safe, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (e.g., 4:00 AM - 1:00 PM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and perform manual labor.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when stocking and organizing inventory.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic Math: Ability to handle cash transactions or simple inventory calculations if required.
