Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated Washington, DC neighborhoods
- Administer medication and provide basic care as needed
- Maintain detailed client communication logs and updates
- Transport pets to/from vet appointments and playdates
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Manage scheduling and route optimization for efficiency
- Uphigh company standards for pet welfare and client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- CPR/First-Certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
- Background check and clean driving record required
- Local Washington, DC residency preferred
