As a Cashier, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring our customers have a pleasant and efficient shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer purchases, returns, and exchanges.
- Greet customers upon arrival and provide a welcoming, friendly atmosphere.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with high accuracy and speed.
- Assist customers with locating products and answering questions regarding our inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all supplies are stocked.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in retail, food service, or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong basic math skills and the ability to count cash accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
