Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict accuracy and adhere to all cash-handling policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Restock merchandise, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is fully stocked.
- Cross-train on other store functions to support the team during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail are essential for cash handling.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
- Proficiency with technology and willingness to learn new POS systems.
