Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to every customer entering the store and assist with inquiries.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using modern Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Customer Assistance: Answer questions regarding product locations, prices, and availability to enhance the shopping journey.
- Merchandising Support: Maintain a tidy checkout counter, organize displays, and ensure promotional materials are up-to-date.
- Problem Resolution: Handle returns, exchanges, and customer complaints with patience, empathy, and adherence to company policy.
- Cash Management: Reconcile daily cash drawers, prepare bank deposits, and ensure all financial records are precise.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail are essential.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computers and POS systems is required.
