Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally as they arrive, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus, provide detailed knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and answer any inquiries.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system and relay them to the kitchen/bar promptly.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations throughout the shift.
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments accurately and reconcile daily tips.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to resolve any guest issues or special requests.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and alcohol service laws (ABC).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when necessary.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
