As we scale our engineering division for the next generation of digital infrastructure, we need a leader who can navigate the complexities of the US tech market. You will play a pivotal role in building our brand, sourcing passive candidates, and closing the best talent in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for mid-to-senior level engineering roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing top talent.
- Strategic Sourcing: Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and direct outreach, to build robust pipelines of passive candidates.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with hiring managers and engineering leads to understand technical requirements and define ideal candidate personas.
- Brand Ambassador: Represent Apex Horizon at industry events and networking groups to enhance our employer value proposition (EVP) and market presence.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine recruitment processes and tools to improve efficiency and candidate experience.
- Candidate Experience: Provide an exceptional, transparent, and engaging experience for all candidates, ensuring they remain engaged throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably within a high-growth startup or tech environment.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), web technologies (React, Node.js, Python), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Sourcing Skills: Proven track record of successfully filling hard-to-fill engineering roles through creative sourcing strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- ATS Proficiency: Mastery of Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby) and HRIS platforms.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
