Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and audit secure smart contracts primarily in Solidity and Rust.
- Optimize gas usage and improve transaction throughput for our blockchain protocols.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate decentralized applications (dApps) with backend smart contracts.
- Implement rigorous testing strategies, including unit tests and formal verification.
- Maintain the highest security standards and adhere to best practices for blockchain security.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers on Web3 development standards.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in blockchain development.
- Deep proficiency in Solidity and Rust.
- Experience with layer-1 or layer-2 scaling solutions (Arbitrum, Optimism, ZK-rollups).
- Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Next.js, and libraries such as Ethers.js or Web3.js.
- Track record of deploying audited smart contracts to a live mainnet.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
