Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms tailored for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, hardware engineers, and data scientists to optimize quantum circuit fidelity.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum software stacks, including Qiskit, Cirq, and custom frameworks.
- Lead architectural decisions regarding hybrid quantum-classical systems and cloud quantum integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong portfolio of high-performance computing projects.
- Proficiency in at least one quantum computing framework (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane, PyQuil).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems.
