Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum circuits and algorithms for superconducting and trapped-ion qubit architectures.
- Lead the architectural roadmap for our 2026 quantum processing unit (QPU) integration projects.
- Optimize quantum error correction codes to enhance system fidelity and stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and hardware specialists.
- Translate complex quantum physics concepts into robust, production-ready software libraries.
- Conduct rigorous performance benchmarking and analysis of quantum workloads.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in quantum computing or superconducting hardware development.
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms, quantum gates, and error mitigation techniques.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Google Quantum AI, or IBM Quantum).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
