Responsibilities
- Manage complex interlibrary loan systems and resource sharing networks
- Oversee digital archives and metadata management for special collections
- Develop and execute community outreach programs for underserved populations
- Train and mentor junior staff on advanced cataloging and reference techniques
- Coordinate library-wide technology initiatives including digital literacy workshops
- Conduct in-depth research support for academic and professional patrons
- Implement collection development strategies based on usage analytics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Library Science or related field (MLS preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive library experience with technical services
- Advanced proficiency in integrated library systems (ILS) and metadata standards
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and program development
- Expertise in digital preservation and archival management
- Strong bilingual communication skills (Spanish/English required)
- Experience supervising teams and managing budgets
- Knowledge of current library technology trends and innovations
