Responsibilities
- Manage circulation desk operations including check-ins/check-outs, renewals, and fine processing
- Provide exceptional reference services to patrons of all ages and backgrounds
- Shelve and organize library materials using Dewey Decimal System standards
- Assist in planning and executing community programs (workshops, children's events)
- Maintain accurate patron records and troubleshoot account issues
- Support digital literacy initiatives including computer assistance and database navigation
- Collaborate with team to maintain a welcoming, inclusive library environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- 1+ years customer service or library experience
- Proficiency with integrated library systems (ILS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
- Valid Colorado driver's license (required for branch transfers)
