Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-forward solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Translate complex foresight data into actionable strategic roadmaps for executive stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and industry consortia to shape future standards
- Design and deliver immersive scenario-planning workshops for leadership teams
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on emerging ethical and governance challenges
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep technical literacy across AI, blockchain, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in reputable foresight or technology journals
- Experience with futures simulation tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi methods)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of foresight into commercial innovation
