Responsibilities
- Anticipate and map technological, social, and economic megatrends through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligning with organizational goals and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development
- Produce high-impact trend reports and strategic briefings for executive stakeholders
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with disruptive potential (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and innovation ecosystems
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial success
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and strategic modeling frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or future trends
- Experience in high-growth tech or Fortune 500 environments
