Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends with 3-5 year predictive horizons
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through rapid experimentation
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite executives and external stakeholders including venture partners
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex technological forecasts into actionable business opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI/quantum/biotech preferred)
- Deep understanding of technological singularity concepts and exponential growth patterns
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence for C-level presentations
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (peer-reviewed or industry journals)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI trend analysis platforms
