Responsibilities

- Develop and communicate compelling future scenarios using foresight methodologies, trend mapping, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Present strategic foresight insights to executive stakeholders and board members through data-driven visualizations
- Establish Horizon's thought leadership through published research, keynote presentations, and industry white papers
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide innovation culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, technology impact assessment, and trend analysis methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives with measurable business outcomes
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into executive narratives
- Global network of futurists, technologists, and policy influencers
