Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, patent data, and market shifts to identify 2026's disruptive opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for AI ethics, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite stakeholders and investor boards
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Prototype future-facing solutions using rapid ideation methodologies
- Mentor junior futurists and foster a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of translating future trends into market-ready initiatives
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Delphi Method)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects with measurable impact
