Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, climate tech) and their commercial implications
- Develop 10-year strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead innovation workshops with executive teams to translate foresight into product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global conferences
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Oversee patent strategy for emerging technology domains
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (TED, Web Summit, etc.)
- Proficiency in AI-driven foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Palantir)
