Responsibilities
- Execute flawless POS transactions while maintaining $0 cash variance
- Process complex payments including crypto, gift cards, and corporate accounts
- Lead customer service initiatives during peak hours with upsell techniques
- Train junior staff on cash handling protocols and loss prevention
- Conduct daily reconciliation and financial reporting
- Manage inventory discrepancies and audit documentation
- Coordinate with loss prevention team on security protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-volume cashier experience with $0 variance record
- Expertise in advanced POS systems (Square, Shopify POS, etc.)
- Proven ability to handle $500+ transactions daily
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Basic knowledge of retail loss prevention procedures
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours with frequent movement
