Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon entry and provide exceptional customer service to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering detailed product questions.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing payments and handling returns.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing sales floor.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts and reporting.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; previous retail experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer skills and comfort with technology (POS systems, tablets).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
