Responsibilities
- Execute complex espresso and manual brewing techniques with precision
- Develop seasonal coffee menus featuring Hawaiian-grown beans
- Train junior baristas on latte art and customer engagement
- Manage inventory of specialty coffee equipment and ingredients
- Curate coffee pairings with local pastries and desserts
- Host coffee tasting events for VIP clients
- Maintain pristine workspace and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with chefs on fusion beverage concepts
Qualifications
- 3+ years specialty coffee experience with portfolio
- SCAA Barista Certification or equivalent
- Expertise in latte art and advanced extraction methods
- Knowledge of Hawaiian coffee terroirs and processing
- Exceptional customer service and upselling abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic POS and inventory management skills
- Valid Hawaii food handler permit
