Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon entering the store and provide a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist customers in locating products, answering questions, and making informed purchasing decisions.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, processing cash, credit, and gift card transactions.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and visually appealing at all times.
- Handle customer returns and exchanges efficiently while maintaining policy compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or damages promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and POS software.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
