Responsibilities
- Greet all customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, handling cash, credit, and digital payments efficiently.
- Stock merchandise on shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist with inventory management, including price changes and stock counts.
- Process customer returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve daily and weekly sales goals.
- Answer phone inquiries and provide accurate information about products and store hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for cash handling.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to learn new computer systems and technology quickly.
