Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide personalized product recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process transactions efficiently and accurately, including returns, exchanges, and gift cards.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain store displays to company standards, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting.
- Inventory Management: Assist with stock counts, receiving shipments, and organizing backroom inventory to ensure product availability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to achieve daily sales goals and operational targets.
- Store Operations: Help with store cleanliness, opening/closing procedures, and special events or promotional activities.
- Problem Solving: Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues professionally to maintain brand reputation.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Availability: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Basic math skills for cash handling; ability to learn and use technology (POS systems, inventory software).
- Physical: Ability to stand for extended periods, walk the sales floor, and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
