Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card payments with strict attention to detail and accuracy.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and answering questions about store policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe checkout area at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and inventory management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
