Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
- Stock shelves and display areas with products, ensuring items are organized, labeled, and visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management when stock is running low or products require restocking.
- Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including regular cleaning of floors, windows, and merchandise.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and store policies.
- Support team members during peak hours and assist in general store operations as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is not required; we provide full training.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new POS software quickly.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.
