Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain the sales floor, stockroom, and fitting rooms in pristine condition, ensuring merchandise is organized and displayed attractively.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and store goals.
- Stay informed about product knowledge, promotions, and store events to assist customers effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to stand and move around the sales floor for extended periods.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide excellent customer service.
