Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers immediately upon entering the store, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Assist customers in finding products, providing detailed product information, and making recommendations.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with strict attention to accuracy and security.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers of all ages.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
