Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly, assessing their needs and providing expert recommendations on equipment and tools.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, processing transactions and handling returns or exchanges accurately.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels, conducting regular stock counts, and organizing the sales floor to ensure a clutter-free environment.
- Provide exceptional after-sales support, including answering product inquiries and explaining warranty and service options.
- Collaborate with management to achieve daily sales targets and implement merchandising strategies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new product lines and sales techniques.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or the equipment industry is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Basic computer literacy and aptitude for learning new POS software quickly.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift boxes (up to 50 lbs), and navigate the sales floor.
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED required.
