In this role, you will be the face of our brand, helping customers find the perfect equipment for their adventures while maintaining a pristine store environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor, guiding them to the right equipment.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the showroom is clean and inviting.
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of various equipment categories, from camping gear to power tools.
- Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and receiving new stock.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally to ensure high satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and store policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED preferred).
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
