Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a friendly smile and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, processing cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Handle cash registers with strict adherence to cash reconciliation and balancing procedures.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding store policies, product locations, and hours of operation.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and organizing sales floor displays.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
