Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a smile, providing expert recommendations on tools, machinery, and safety gear.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of our inventory to explain features, benefits, and proper usage of equipment.
- Sales Support: Process transactions accurately at the point of sale (POS) and operate the register with efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stocking shelves, organizing the sales floor, and conducting regular inventory checks to ensure product availability.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales environment in accordance with safety regulations.
- Service & Returns: Handle customer inquiries regarding warranties and product returns professionally.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse clientele.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a genuine desire to help customers succeed.
