Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers warmly upon entering the store, providing product recommendations and answering inquiries.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit, and gift card transactions.
- Restock shelves and displays to ensure the store is organized, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
- Process customer returns and exchanges according to company policy.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet daily sales targets and improve customer satisfaction scores.
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free environment for both customers and staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for transaction accuracy.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
